Kevin studied law at Queen’s University, Belfast  graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Laws degree. After three years working in the insurance industry in England, he qualified with McKinty and Wright in 1991, becoming a Partner in 2000.

 

Kevin is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation department. He has wide experience of dealing with all types of litigation in both the High Court and County Courts. His specialisms include professional indemnity work along with product liability and industrial disease, particularly asbestos-related actions. He has dealt with a considerable number of inquests and also HSE prosecutions and handles a large volume of employers/public liability claims on behalf of both insured and self-insured clients.

 

He is one of the very few solicitors in Northern Ireland who has successfully defended a client in relation to irritant contact dermatitis proceedings brought before the High Court. Kevin regularly gives talks to insurance clients and has written articles which have been published locally and nationally.
