Louise was educated at Queen’s University Belfast. She graduated in 1990 with an LLB. She then served her apprenticeship with McKinty and Wright and was entered onto the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 1992. Louise was made a Partner in the Firm in 2000.

Louise specialises in Defence Insurance work. She has a "mixed bag" of clients ranging from Motor Insurers to Medical Defence Organisations. She represents clients in a variety of courts including the County courts, the High Court and the criminal courts (both Magistrate and Crown) and has represented clients at PACE interviews. 

Louise also has experience of Plaintiff litigation and  represents a number of individual clients  in both the Civil Courts and Commercial Courts.
