Eleanor graduated from Trinity College Dublin (LLB) in 1993 and completed her professional qualifications at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 1994.  She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Judicature in Northern Ireland in 1995.  Eleanor joined McKinty & Wright in 1997.

 

Her main areas of practice are litigation and employment law.  She has wide experience of dealing with all types of litigation in both the High Court and County Court and frequently appears before the Industrial Tribunals.  Eleanor advises clients on all aspects of employment law both contentious and non-contentious including drafting contracts of employment, compromise agreements, employment policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, equal opportunities and TUPE.  She also provides advice and representation in the Industrial and the Fair Employment Tribunals. 

 

Eleanor is a member of the Employment Lawyers Group for Northern Ireland.
